My wife wanted to eat there I'm not really crazy about the place but that's just me. I like homemade food not food out of a box or can.

Always fast, friendly service. Decent prices. Great food. Convenient location and parking.

Exc.food, good size portions, friendly,good service, fair prices.

This used to be one of my favorite places to eat in Alpena. The last few times, however, they have gone down hill. The food was overpriced, the portions small, and flavor lacking. My burger was bland and dry. My daughters BLT had only 2 slices of bacon, and that was undercooked amd greasy. The ONLY reason I gave 3 stars was because the service was great. Our server was as polite and attentive as she could be without being intrusive.

Food was good but if you order soup make them put your order on after you get your soup... they are almost too fast, and you won't finish your soup.

Love their food. Had the patty melt. It was good except they leave the onion whole. Makes it hard to eat. Still yummy food!!

The food was good as always. But the young man that was our server, well needs more training. My husband had coffee with his lunch, he never refilled his cup. Never even ask if he wanted more He took coffee twice to table by us and never even stopped to ask if he wanted more. When he brought food never ask if we needed anything else. We have ate there quite often. But will have second thoughts now.

Nice place, good food, service, prices!

I wish they would add new items on their menu. The place could use a remodel too. Great food and friendly staff. A great local hangout.

My wife and I were in Alpena looking for a local non chain restaurant and came across this one and we are glad we did. We both ordered the pot roast special of the day and it was fantastic with very generous portions. Our waitress was very helpful and friendly. We will definitely be back.

Absolutely disgusting, flies all over the place made it difficult to eat dinner. The food was also extremely pricey, considering it’s nowhere near a high class restaurant. Waitress was nice, but she appeared very dirty. The restaurant in it’s entirety was dirty, definitely won’t be back and would not recommend.

I'd give it 3.5 if I could. Service was nice. Our waitress was respectful and nice. Amazing toast. Great hash browns. No egg whites. Egg beaters weren't that good at all. Ham tasted like lunch meat and not fresh ham. Turkey sausage tasted questionable but still good. Good bacon. If visiting, go everywhere else first.

Greasy spoon food, server smelled bad of cigarettes smoke. Didnt refill drink. Hashbrowns and sausage gravy was really good

Staff was friendly and fast! Food was absolutely delicious. Made to order and was spot on.. I had the club and I highly recommend it to anyone looking for a great sandwich.

We come here often for their Sunday breakfast buffet. It runs till 1:30 and costs $8.99. They have scrambled eggs, bacon, sausage, biscuits and gravy, french toast sticks and corned beef hash. Also has friend potatoes, fresh fruit , donuts and muffins. They will bring you home made bread toasted on request. Coffee is good and waitstaff has been friendly and attentive. Buffet is well stocked.

I like family dining and good food. The service was good. Pleasant atmosphere. Alone, friends & family it's a friendly place to eat out.

We found this restaurant by accident, but it will be on our permanent radar when we are in this area! Great home cooking! Pleasant and attentive wait staff!!!Our waitress, Annabelle, was on top her game! Fresh drinks, without asking, and a beautiful smile!!

What can I say, opening weekend Sunday ball you can eat breakfast buffet. YOU GUYS KNOCKED IT OUT OF THE PARK!!!!! If the awesome service wasn't enough then the food nailed it! You guys just made a new deer camp tradition for us. See you next year.

My husband had the hot beef meal and loved it. I had a blt and salad bar, it was great. Friendly people and very clean establishment. Very nice experience.
